8/31/2022 – College Park, MD – Infotrend, a leading IT Transformation and Consulting firm, today announced it has become a RelativityOne Services Partner as a result of demonstrated success and expertise helping customers migrate to, implement and use Relativity’s SaaS solutions to realize their desired business outcomes.
Team Infotrend provides end-to-end Relativity services at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Relativity allows CFPB a centralized document review platform for attorneys and staff to conduct reviews and production of documents for litigation. The Infotrend team leads this important initiative for the CFPB by working with stakeholders in creating cases, assigning users and helping troubleshoot issues within workspaces and the platform.
Over the past two years there has been a massive increase in the adoption of Relativity by the CFPB’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) team to assist in review, redaction, and document productions in response to requests, which in turn, has helped eliminate the enormous backlog that has been a challenge for CFPB for years.
As result of partnering with Infotrend and Relativity, the backlog has been eliminated in just the last eight months. With this progress, another need that has emerged from the use of Relativity within the CFPB is the need for redactions. As the Bureau is rightfully protective of consumers’ personally identifiable information (PII), there has been an amplified amount of cross-functional non-litigation teams who have embraced Relativity as more of a records management tool. While continuing to play an integral part of user training and support services, Infotrend is able to keep this backlog moderate to non-existent.
