Program Manager
Infotrend, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to provide an operational and strategic expertise to assess, review and document the operational and functional baseline of different mission programs and functions as well as systems. The tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Provide Program and Project Management Support Services to include Program Management Office (PMO) Support, Project Management Staffing Support, and Agile Project Support Services
- Promote the use of best practices, standards, quality, and methodologies in project management, resource management and planning, and systems engineering
- Tailor approaches to work for the Division and different mission programs
- Provide a structure for the definition of planning, authorization, execution, and continuous improvement of projects, including communication of project status, issues, risks and dependencies across projects
- Provide transparency between project teams, management, and agency leadership
- Support staff and leadership with Project management expertise, technical intake, program development and lifecycle services
- Manage a large portfolio containing multiple projects working with different business stakeholders from divisions and other offices, including work with IT department to manage the project end to end.
- Manage projects for system modernizations, custom software developments, COTS product implementations, Cloud-native application solution deployments and others
- Propose projects by presenting business cases to the leadership for approval and to plan and execute authorized projects to include plans and reporting on project schedule milestones and deliverables, manage risks and issues, periodic status updates, and close out.
Requirements
- Experience in Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise (SAFe) practices
- Strong expertise in the Agile Product Owner roles
- Highly developed understanding of client drivers and behaviors
- Ability to translate highly technical and complex projects into consumable tactical plans
- Understanding of and ability to execute upon program management core competencies
- Assist in the planning and development of policies and procedures for the effective and efficient management of projects
- Outstanding organizational abilities including the capacity to manage government relations functions regionally, and manage several different workstreams at one time
- Define the overall approach and strategy for delivering multi-release and multi-year technology delivery programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 10 years of professional experience including project management, data analysis, process improvement, and strategic planning
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience working within a dynamic team environment
- Must have the ability to adjust to the fast paced and high volume with demanding deadlines work environment
- Demonstrates leadership skills and strong team-focus with the ability to interact effectively with all parts of the organization
- Strong customer service acumen and commitment
